July 23 will host the seventh chapter of Red Bull Sound Select Presents: Los Angeles—a monthly live music event that highlights local artists on the up and up, as well as one headliner. This Wednesday’s show is sure to be a noteworthy one: with FILTER favorite Sea Wolf, Oregon-born psychedelic artist White Rainbow, and ambient LA natives, Rare Times, set to play at the legendary Sayers Club.
Tomorrow night the doors will open at 8pm. There's no presale for this 21+ show, so make sure to get their early because it's first come, first served!
See you tomorrow!

In the midst of this summer heat, we have more great looks to keep you cool all season long in our Gap Styld.by series. We've been hanging out with some of our favorite artists during an ordinary (or, in some cases, extraordinary) day and featuring their styles. For this one, we caught up with RAC's André Anjos once again!

The musician and pro-surfer Donavon Frankenreiter—known for the sizable stache blanketing his top lip—has been in Japan lately, touring with the footwear brand, Sanuk, while he rocks out, hangs with the locals, and does a little surf-shop snooping. The shoe company—born from the mind of surfer Jeff Kelley back in the ‘90s—has partnered with a number of outreach programs and charities around the globe. One of the brand’s “ambassadors” or sponsors, Frankenreiter’s eccentric style is palpable throughout the colorful video, as well as his and Sanuk’s shared love for surfing. The video’s blending of surf with rock and roll hints at their likenesses, reminding us of their mutual beginnings as the rebel’s hobby.
Witness Donavon’s journey above.

We've had a ton of fun exploring different parts of Los Angeles and New York for our Gap Styld.by series. The gist? We hang out with some of our favorite artists during an ordinary (or, in some cases, extraordinary) day and feature their styles.
For this one, we're once again hanging out with our friend Priscilla Ahn.

Our reputations will precede us. It doesn’t matter the person, or whether one’s impression of her was formed in the context of a rumor or a fleeting glance. Image is a requisite hurdle that we must clear before we can truly know each other; in some cases, this feat can be more of a decathlon. Such was the inevitable gauntlet laid out for the granddaughter of acetate legend Francis Ford Coppola and niece of director Sofia Coppola (not to mention cousin of Nicolas Cage and the Schwartzman boys). Nevertheless, the sweetly reticent Gia Coppola has managed to emerge seemingly out of midair, her buzzing debut feature, Palo Alto, in hand.
