WATCH: Maps & Atlases Become ‘Living Decorations’

Chicago's Maps & Atlases has just unveiled a new video for "Living Decorations" to (presumably) get fans excited for the forthcoming Living Decorations EP. The video was directed by the band's own guitarist Erin Elders who told Spinner that inspiration for the song came "from an advertisement for home improvement supplies."

The video takes a slightly different take, imagining a, um, colorful frontman known as Rick Reebok with his band the Analog Medallion, preparing for a lavish, sold out show.

The Living Decorations EP will be available March 1st on iTunes, while the full album, Perch Patchwork, is out now via Barsuk Records.

If you're SXSW-bound, you won't want to miss Maps & Atlases at our Culture Collide SXSW 2011 party Friday, March 18 at noon. RSVP at
