UPDATE: The Swell Season Are NOT Breaking Up

Contrary to our announcement of The Swell Season breaking up just moments ago, it apparently isn't true.

Glen Hansard has responded via Twitter to the "breakup" news that "Were not breaking up..".

The band is simply discussing the future of the band and the other ventures that each person is planning and/or considering to do.

Glen Hansard has recently announced a tour with his old band, The Frames, and he recently told Spinner.com that "I'll go back to the Frames, and Mar will make her own record at some point. This band will eventually naturally end. But right now, all of us are just so grateful."

Marketa Irglova has also been showcasing some of her possible solo material as a piano ballad titled "Crossroads" at recent Swell Season concerts.
