The Walkmen Plan New Album

With a UK tour on the way and a slew of US and Canadian dates still to go, what’s a better time to announce a new album than now? Come this September, The Walkmen will release Lisbon, their two year in the making follow up to 2008's You & Me.

Working in warehouses in Brooklyn and Philadelphia, and writing some songs in Portugal, the new record was produced by John Congleton (St. Vincent/Mountain Goats/Thermals), and engineered by Chris Zane (Passion Pit/Les Savy Fav).

Lisbon will drop September 14th via Fat Possum.
