Ah! Smell that? Well yes, Spring is in the air, but that's not what we're talking about! We smell all of the guts, glory, fun and sweat that was the first day of FILTER Magazine's Showdown At Cedar Street SXSW showcase!
What better way to kick off our all-encompassing musical takeover of Austin, Texas than to start our Cedar Street Showcase off with the killer line-up of Sóley, Ásgeir Trausti, Ólafur Arnalds, Bastille, Charli XCX, Willy Moon, Shout Out Louds and Local Natives!
After getting their slick black and teal wristbands thanks to our sponsor American Rag, the crowd was treated to top notch sets by the unbelievably animated Bastille and Willy Moon, were able to sway to the grooves of Sóley, Ásgeir Trausti and Ólafur Arnalds, as well as getting to rock out to Charli XCX and everyone's favorite Shout Out Louds. The night ended with an amazing set by Los Angeles' own Local Natives playing hits and deep cuts from Gorilla Manor and Hummingbird.
Beyond getting to see a ton of killer acts for free, what more could you ask for? Oh right, FREE BBQ!
