Sigur Ros Singer Reveals Solo Album Details

The debut solo album from Sigur Rós frontman Jónsi Birgisson, entitled Go, is set to release March 23 courtesy of XL. The nine-song LP was arranged by Nico Muhly (Björk, Grizzly Bear), co-produced by Jónsi, his Riceboy Sleeps partner Alex Somers, and Peter Katis (the National, Interpol), and was recorded in both Iceland and Connecticut. Finnish percussionist Samuli Kosminen also contributed to the album, which mostly features Birgisson's signature sound in English.
