TGIF is an understatement! We're basking in the afterglow of yesterday's Showdown at Cedar Street as day 2 kicks off with a buzzing, packed courtyard. Nneka (pronounced "Neck-uh", we've just confirmed) has just taken the stage and we're reviewing the Thursday highlights, where hundreds rolled through the venue to catch performances from Casiokids, The Megaphonic Thrift, Serena Maneesh, The Kissaway Trail, Fool's Gold, Active Child, Minus the Bear and Uffie, all followed by the cherry on top, a headline performance from Miike Snow, after which we headed upstairs to Peche for an absynthe-infused celebration of Melissa Auf Der Maur's upcoming release OOOM, where MAdM herself hung out with us as we flipped through her new cover issue of Venus.
It's a sunny Friday in Austin, and we're thrilled to be spending it with FILTER favorites Band of Skulls, Delta Spirit, The Temper Trap, BRMC, Local Natives, and Dr. Dog. Stay tuned here for updates and photos!
