RECAP: The Faint And Danny Brown Heat Up Mammoth’s Grand Prix Weekend

Mammoth Mountain was definitely the place to be this past weekend. After checking out US Olympic hopefuls on the slopes for the US Grand Prix, mountaineers and visitors alike were hit with a one-two punch from indie-rock, synth gods The Faint and the illustrious wild-haired Danny Brown on Saturday night.
To the surprise of no one, The Faint amazed with a light-show of epic proportions and, of course, their unforgettable songs. The packed house at Canyon Lodge quickly turned into a dance party, especially when the band brought out the classics like "Worked Up So Sexual."
There was no rest for the dancers though, as they quickly hopped over to Underground to party with Danny Brown. The crowd was at a fever pitch when Brown came out in his Mickey Mouse shirt. When he busted out his unreal rhymes, the place exploded.
Everyone in Mammoth might still be hungover from this weekend, but Underground's First Friday events are still going on, so get ready for FIDLAR on February 7th!
