RECAP: Edward Sharpe and the Magnetic Zeros Takeover Apogee’s Berkeley Street Studio with KCRW
By Staff; Photos by Jeremiah Garcia on April 11, 2012
Energies were high over on Berkeley Street in Santa Moncia last Thursday night, all for a most special session with Edward Sharpe & the Magnetic Zeros by presented KCRW . Taking place at Apogee’s Berkeley Street Studio in Santa Monica, the studio space was oozing with eager ears, excited to hear the new material from the band of comrades.
Edward Sharpe & the Magnetic Zeros warmed the small crowd with humility and gracious delight as they played their new material for the very first time outside their recording and creative spaces. During the mid-set interview with KCRW host Liza Richardson, lead vocalist Alex Ebert laid all the good vibes out answering questions on the new record and the band's lifestyle. Check out photos from the intimate night below!
