Indie singer-songwriter PJ Harvey has donated one of her stage & promotional outfits from her 2004 Uh Huh Her campaign to Oxfam's Auction for Haiti. The outfit includes her yellow dress, which is actually a customised PJ Harvey t-shirt featuring a black and white picture of the her taken at the start of her career, and neon pink stilleto's. This is the first ever PJ Harvey outfit ever to be auctioned, and all proceeds from the auction will go to Oxfam's humanitarian response in Haiti.
Hosted on eBay, this auction is a rapid response from bands & artists in the UK and beyond to the massive crisis in Haiti and Oxfam's ongoing emergency response there. Only limited information on donated items such as this is currently available due to the urgency of the situation, but Polly's auction, as well as various other celebrity auctions including those by Radiohead, Arctic Monkeys and Pet Shop Boys, will go on until Tuesday, February 2.
Stay informed and bid for a good cause.
