FILTER likes music. There's no hiding it. We also like our own opinions a whole bunch, so once a week we give the masses a fleeting glimpse into our selective stereos and Internet browsers to let them see firsthand what fuels our endless devotion. We like to think of it as community service. We're selfless like that. So without further ado, here are the official, inarguable, objectively good FILTER Weekly Picks—providing everything from new LPs you should be spinning to the latest good-fer-you videos. Yeah, we're good at what we do:

Tubetops “Here With You
Why: Both the band name and their danceable songs make me think of warm weather and short lived summer romance. I’m particularly in love with “Here With You,” and it doesn’t hurt that the video is as shamelessly indulgent, awkward, and adorable as any given summer fling. Make it to the last few seconds of the video and you’ll understand why the dudes from Tubetops should be your new best friends. - Sarah Chavey

Yo Gabba Gabba - Music is Awesome Vol 3.
Why: After the show, the kids had a dance party to it! - Alan Sartirana

Why: Head back to Big Whiskey with this 20th anniversary edition Blu-ray (available in February on Warner Home Video) that comes complete with a 54-page commemorative production book. This multi-Oscar winner is easily one of the best Westerns of all time. So, I dub thee Unforgiven. - Pat McGuire

Bored To Death Season Finale
Why: The adventures of Jonathan, George and (Super) Ray deserve all eyes on HBO at 9/8c tonight. They're perhaps the best comedic trio on TV, and I'm not just saying that because I also enjoy white wine and live in Brooklyn. Let's get them a fourth season, okay? - Samantha Barnes

Joel P West’s - Shoulder Season
Why: It’s probably safe to say that Joel P West is the most talented person I know in San Diego right now.  I cannot believe this is only $5.  Joel, you deserve more for these beautiful tracks.  Thank you and keep making music, please. - Connie Tsang

The Bullet Express

Why: Wolfgore Show is pretty good, but this one is the best. Just watch. - Andy C-23

Mad Men - Everything!

Why: I know I am late on the train, but this show rules. At first I thought it was too slow but now I can't get enough of Draper & co. I'm only on season 1 so I can only imagine how awesome this is going to get. - Tim Dove
