FILTER's longtime friend and contributing editor, Nevin Martell, has a new book coming out and we're so stoked about it we just had to share.
Dubbed a memoir-misadventure along the same vein of those from the National Lampoon, Freak Show Without A Tent: Swimming with Piranhas, Getting Stoned in Fiji and Other Family Vacations follows Martell through his many childhood vacations to exotic and unconventional destinations.
Martell has been a food writer and pop culture enthusiast for nearly two decades. His work has been featured along the pages of the Washington Post, TravelChannel.com, NPR's The Salt blog, Wine Enthusiast and many more. Freak Show Without A Tent marks his fifth book and will join his catalog alongside Beck: The Art of Muation, The Founding Farmers Cookbook: 100 Recipes for True Food & Drink and Looking for Calvin and Hobbes: The Unconventional Story of Bill Watterson and His Revolutionary Comic Strip.
