Midlake Release New Singles

Denton, TX based vintage rock collective Midlake are preparing to release their sophomore album, the follow up to 2006's stellar The Trials of Van Occupanther. The band has been working hard over the past three years to rework their sound and come out with something fresh and interesting.

The Courage of Others is a testament to all their hard work. The album flows on a macro level, and the songs bloom one by one into leisurely, quietly epic masterpieces.

The album is due out February 2 via Bella Union. In the meantime, "Acts Of Man" and "Ruling All Things"  will be released as a limited edition 12" at select retailers.
