LOOK: Toro Y Moi To Release Vinyl Archival Box Set

Not long ago, Toro Y Moi released a new EP, Freaking Out. Today, he announced the release of a vinyl archival box set, June 2009, to be released April 24th via Carpark. The box set consists of five discs, ten songs in total. You can acquire the set via vinyl, cd or in digital copy.

The box set came about when Toro Y Moi was still figuring out what his sound should be. He recorded these tracks right after he graduated from college, which is seen in the themes attacked in these tracks. He sings about dealing with the fact that friends are moving away, to him moving to a new city, to being nostalgic about college life.

In support of this box set, Chaz Bundick has decided that he wants to make an exchange with you. You give him your e-mail address, and you get a previously unreleased song from 2009, "Dead Pontoon." Take the leap below!

Last year, we asked Toro Y Moi what his top 10 of 2011 were, check it out here.

And if you've yet to check out the Q&A we had with him prior to his participation in the Pacific Festival: OC, read it here.
