By Staff on August 11, 2011
Tokyo Police Club fans, you are in for a treat!
The Canadian quartet are about to embark on an ambitious project, recording 10 cover songs from the years 2001-2010 over the course of 10 days.
Next Monday, August 15, three potential songs from each year, between 2001-2010, will be revealed via Polaroid, who will also unveil the final track each night before it’s recorded. The band will also share daily Polaroid photo diaries and film the entire recording process. Each song will have unique artwork created from a Polaroid image taken that day in the studio.
TPC will begin rehearsing and recording Tuesday, August 23 at 12pm at Red Bull Studio in Los Angeles for 10 hours. At 10am the following morning, they debut their recorded tune. You following us?
