LOOK: The Dandy Warhols For #8

FILTER Magazine Cover alum (Issue #4) and 18 year old band The Dandy Warhols have announced the release of their 8th official studio album out April 24 via The End Records. This Machine is the Dandy's was recorded over the course of 2011 at The Dandy Warhols rock clubhouse/ entertainment megaplex/studio The Odditorium. Recorded with their longtime engineer/producer Jeremy Sherrerl, This Machine is "stripped down, woody and extremely guitar centric", according to Courtney Taylor-Taylor.

The Dandies have also teamed up with mixing genius Tchad Blake who also mixed The Dandy Warhols Odditorium or Warlords of Mars and Come Down, and has worked with The Black Keys, Blitzen Trapper and Pearl Jam. The album cover for This Machine was painted by local Portland, Oregon painter Hickory Mertsching.
