FILTER is having an advanced screening of the latest Focus Features film, The Place Beyond The Pines and we are inviting you and a guest to join us! Be sure to RSVP for this special event on March 27 before the movie hits theaters on March 29!
This film, from the director of Blue Valentine, stars Ryan Gosling who plays a motorcycle stunt driver that turns to robbing banks in attempt to provide for his estranged lover (Eva Mendes) and newborn son. This decision puts him against an ambitious police officer (Bradley Cooper) looking to make his way up the corrupted ranks of the police department. The film captures the lives of these people and how their decisions affect the way their lives unravel.
