LOOK: Red Bull Sound Select Offers Free Record Store Day “Divided” 7” Feat. Four Emerging Artists

Tomorrow is Record Store Day, which is making this Good Friday feel a lot more like Christmas Eve, and we're here to give you a peek under the tree!

The artist development team over at Red Bull Sound Select has compiled Divided 7", a split featuring four promising up-and-comers from around the genre spectrum, and they're giving it away for free along with any purchase you make at participating record stores. You must have been good this year.

Get the skinny on all four artists and hear their 7" contributions after the jump!

Side A:

Tapioca and the Flea

What started as the bedroom project of Samuel Jacob-Lopez, Jr has grown into a genre-bending four-piece that blends psych, indie rock, and electro-dance to create a truly unique sound. Check out the video for their single "Take it Slow," a track produced by Crystal Castles' Ethan Kath!

Wrestlers (Formerly Bagheera)

After the release of his house-meets-chillwave debut 100% Panther in 2012, Aidan Kennedy went on to open for the likes of M83 and Passion Pit. He eventually added friend David Elkin to form the project's current incarnation as Wrestlers. Get your groove on with their Twin Shadow-produced single "Say Anything" below.

Side B:

Denitia and Sene

After meeting at a party in Brooklyn, Denitia, a sultry-voiced singer, and Sene, a rapper, decided to join forces to create a unique brand of minimalist electro-soul. Their debut His and Hers, which was released last year, got them a nomination from URB magazine for Artist of the Year. Check out the video for "Divided" here:

Thurz

Yannick Koffi, the LA-based emcee known as Thurz, started his career in the rap duo U-N-I, a critically-revered group who released three records and were named Best LA Breakout Artist  in 2008 at the VMA's. Thurz went solo in 2011 and released the politically-charged L.A. Riot. His upcoming album Blood on the Canvas, which features a series of short documentaries about Thurz' personal life and career, is due out this year. Check out "High Castle" below.
