LOOK: PJ Harvey Wins Ivor Novello Award For Album Of The Year

PJ Harvey's Let England Shake was released to some some serious critical acclaim last year. And just earlier today in London, Harvey's album won an Ivor Novello for Album of the Year. Other nominees for this award included Adele's 21 and Kate Bush's 50 Words For Snow.

Prior to this, Let England Shake was awarded the Barclaycard Mercury Prize for Album of the Year for Harvey's second time. She was also named Album of the Year in such publications as The Guardian, The Independent, LA Times, The Washington Post, and Boston Globe.

After nearly two decades of songwriting, Polly Jean still shows that she's the best. Congrats! Check out our cover story with her from FILTER Magazine, Issue #10
