LOOK: New Cassettes Partner with MTV for U.S. Release

New Cassettes is a five-piece band from Northampton, England who delivers a fresh blast of modern rock that is artful, edgy and infectious. Evoking a fascinating blend of classic indie rock, pop and new wave, yet thoroughly 21st Century, spiky guitars go head to head with propulsive rhythms and hook-filled choruses. The U.S. will get a taste of the band once they deliver their second full-length album, Winterhead on March 6, 2012 in partnership with MTV.
 
Winterhead was mixed by with Grammy Award-winning songwriter and producer Adam Schlesinger of Fountains of Wayne and sound engineer Geoff Sanoff (Yeah Yeah Yeahs, School of Seven Bells).
