LOOK: Mogwai Score Documentary Film About Kayak Made of Trash

Scottish band, Mogwai, have announced they are producing the score for an upcoming documentary film, Hudson River Project, which was directed by Antony Crook and written by cyclist James Bowthorpe. The film follows Bowthorpe as he rows down the Hudson River on a kayak made out of garbage that was collected from the streets of New York.

The soundtrack will be released as an album. The film will also include an interactive element created by Ben Tricklebank who worked with Arcade Fire on their Wilderness Downtown project.

The project has a Kickstarter page, as a means to raise money for the project. As of now, the project has nearly three thousand dollars, which is a bit short of their expected goal of $100,000. There are 37 days left to go on the project, visit their site to contribute. For more information on the documentary, head over to their Nowness page.
