LOOK: Indie Artists Collaborate On “Save The Amanda!” Compilation; Album Available NOW!
By Staff on April 30, 2013
There's one principal reason why we listen to good music: to make ourselves feel better. Today, we have an announcement about a compilation album that you will not only enjoy listening to immensely, but will also make one very special person in the indie community feel better too: Amanda McCabe—affiliated with Sub Pop, SNOCAP, Buried Treasure Records, Punk Rock Orchestra and more—who has been fighting a hindering type of scoliosis for many years.
Many of her Bay Area friends, such as Two Sheds, John Vanderslice and Tres Ferocious (members of Thee Oh Sees) have collaborated on Save The Amanda! Volumes 1 & 2: over 40 tracks of unreleased, rare material. All of the proceeds go towards Amanda's treatment!
