LOOK: Grizzly Bear End Hibernation + Announce New LP, Song “Sleeping Ute” + World Tour

It’s been three years since Grizzly Bear released the highly praised Veckatimest, but now the Brooklyn quartet is wiping the sleep from their eyes and announcing their return with a new album.

Their fourth full-length album is set to be released on September 18 (or September 17 if you spell color with a "u") via Warp Records, and although important details (such as the album title and artwork) have yet to be revealed, Grizzly Bear is previewing their album opener, “Sleeping Ute.” The track features towering vocals which sweep across an immense landscape of interplaying guitars and rolling thunder, and if the opening track is any indicator of what the album is going to sound like then expect this untitled record to be this summer's hottest.

Grizzly Bear are planning to support their new album with an international tour that kicks off on September 16, a couple weeks after the band returns from their current tour of the UK.

Check out the “Sleeping Ute” below and mark your calendar's for June 6 when the album becomes available for pre-order. Once you've taken care of that, be sure to get yourself and a partner a ticket to one of their upcoming tour dates.
