LOOK: Fender Introduces Exact Replica Of Kurt Cobain’s 1965 Jaguar Guitar

There has been a whole lot of hoopla lately about Nirvana and their forthcoming 20th anniversary of Nevermind. Special concerts, huge box sets and now you can buy Kurt Cobain's signature guitar.

Fender is now offering an official signature guitar modeled after Kurt Cobain's 1965 Jaguar guitar. Fender craftsmen have reproduced Cobain's battle-hardened left-handed Jaguar down the last last unusual detail including its worn finish, dual humbuckers, and unique electronics.

The body is an alder body with Road Worn aged finish and hardware treatment, bound fretboard with perloid dot markers, Stratocaster headstock shape with the 1950s-style "Spaghetti" logo, DiMarzio humbucking DP103 PAF 36th Anniversary neck pickup and DP100 Super Distortion bridge pickup and more.

You also get a hard-shell case and an exclusive Fender Kurt Cobain book holding extensive photos and commentary by Charles Peterson. As you may or may not recall, Cobain was a lefty. But have no fear, the guitar is offered in both lefty and righty.

How much you ask? Well...The MSRP on this little baby is a mere $1,819.99 but Musicians Friend has it for $1,299.99. Click here to start wishing!

And for those of us who can't afford something like this, we will have to settle with free videos of Kurt in action. Enjoy.
