LOOK: East Village Radio Shutting Down After Eleven Years
By Staff on May 14, 2014
It's a sad day for world of online music programming as East Village Radio announced that they will be shutting down for good on Friday, May 23rd. The station has brought a touch of New York's East Village scene to listeners worldwide for eleven years and now we must say goodbye.
This decision comes from the difficulty of paying royalties as they continue to grow. Their DJs will have the next week to play their last sets before the independent radio station shuts down for good. After so many years of great music curating, we'll definitely miss EVR.
