LOOK: Dan Deacon Announces Single For Record Store Day And Tours Museums

Dan Deacon, known for his audience interactive live shows, is preparing a special "Konono Ripoff No. 1" 7-inch for Record Store Day (April 20). The track is a staple on his nightly setlist and a fan favorite for a good reason; two words: dance competition.
Doing a simple search on YouTube for "Konono Ripoff No. 1" will lead you to multiple video of the aforementioned dance contests. Spoiler Alert! It looks like a lot of fun.
The release includes two versions of the track, each with a different duo of drummers. Side A features drummers Kevin O'Meara and Jeremy Hyman while the B-side features Denny Bowen and Dave Jabcober. The 7" is limited to 500 hand-numbered releases worldwide, so grab it while you can!
In addition to the Record Store Day release, Dan Deacon has booked performances in some of the most famous museums around the country in April including the Natural History Museum of Los Angeles and the Metropolitan Museum of Art in NYC!
