Gorillaz Reveal Album Info

Gorillaz have made quite a few announcements in the past few days. Yesterday, their Sunday headlining spot at Coachella was announced, and today come details regarding their next album. Entitled Plastic Beach, the album finds the band as they've "...taken up residence, recording on a secret floating island deep in the South Pacific, a Plastic Beach HQ, made up of the detritus, debris and washed up remnants of humanity. This Plastic Beach is the furthest point from any landmass on Earth; the most deserted spot on the planet."
Guests on the album include Snoop Dogg, Lou Reed, Barry Gibb, De La Soul, and Mick Jones and Paul Simonon of the Clash. Plastic Beach is out March 9 via Virgin.
