It's December, which could only mean one thing: top 10 lists. FILTER has taken this end-of-the-year sacrament to the extreme with its Top 10 of 2009 series. Each day this month, FILTER is presenting lists of the best albums of the year from not only its staff members, but also exclusive guest artists.
The electro-pop group Ladytron kept the adrenaline pumping after the release of its high-energy (and most successful) studio album, Velocifero, with a 2009 summer tour that included a headlining show at the Sydney Opera House as part as the Luminous Festival, curated this year by Brian Eno. In the midst of tours and new material, members from this dance-happy British outfit disclose with FILTER what's been playing on repeat in their headphones this year.
