FILTER’s Top 10 of 2011: The One AM Radio

Though the musical brainchild of Hrishikesh Hirway has expanded beyond its drum machine days in New England, The One AM Radio stays loyal to its uniformed, electronic voice with its contribution to our running Top 10s of 2011. Coming off the spring release of their fourth studio album, Heaven Is Attached By A Slender Thread, The One Am Radio (Hirway, plus Fontaine Cole and Scott Leahy) embarked on a national tour with their talented friends, fellow Angelenos Dntel and Baths. If the accomplishments above were not enough, new and original music composed by Hirway will be featured in the upcoming Sundance Festival film Save The Date. Below, the innovators of dreamy music have broken the rules and given us—in no particular order—their top 11 of 2011.
