FILTER’s Top 10 of 2011: Staff Picks

How do you keep track of an entire year? If you’re us, it’s the records that define how a year passes. How was your February? Ours was positively James Blake. We couldn't have made it through summer without Little Dragon. And Halloween was great, of course, but October was more Tom Waits than trick-or-treat. And here we are at the end, yet again. To launch our month-long Top-10-a-palooza, featuring 2011 picks from some of our favorite musicians every day in December, we start with us—the FILTER HQ. We asked the office to put together their favorite records of 2011 and from there we compiled the official FILTER Top 10 of 2011.

Leave us your own Top 10 in the comments below, and stay tuned for FILTER’s Best-Reviewed Records and Reissues of 2011 as well as Top 10s throughout the month of December.

From us to you, thanks for a stellar 2011.

Love, FILTER
