Although we're busy prepping for the start of 2010, FILTER is putting its list of New Years Resolutions (the one's we're actually going to keep this time) aside for a moment and honoring the best albums of 2009 by presenting a top 10 list from a guest artist each day this month.
After playing supporting DJ sets for fellow synth-pop outfits LCD Soundsystem and Hot Chip, Filthy Dukes hit their stride in 2009 with the March release of their debut studio album, Nonsense in the Dark. In between DJ sets throughout Europe, the guys of Filthy Dukes let us in on which beats and synth-lines captured their attention in 2009.
