Although we're busy prepping for the start of 2010, FILTER is putting its list of New Years Resolutions (the one's we're actually going to keep this time) aside for a moment and honoring the best albums of 2009. But that's not all: FILTER is presenting a top 10 list from a guest artist each day this month.
Joining us on day 15 is musician, writer, and vocalist Eirik Glambek Boe, one-half of the Norweigan folk-pop duo Kings of Convenience. After a lengthy period of inactivity that stimulated speculation about a possible breakup, Boe and bandmate Erlend Oye returned in 2009 with a fall tour and the release of their third studio record, Declaration of Dependence—a solid album that presented a return to form for these effortlessly melodic Scandinavians.
