Celebrating FILTER's 10 years in print means we had to plan more than the typical Coachella Kick-Off party, it means we're coming at you double-time this year.
In conjunction with Coachella's second weekend of their ultimate desert music and arts festival, FILTER teamed up with aerie to bring you two weekends of party. In case you missed our photo recap of weekend 1, check it out right here.
Week two brought more libations, aerie product giveaways, Miller Genuine Draft photo booth memories, all the Pirate's Booty you can handle, and above all, a slew of musical guests!
Greeting the party guests inside the venue was Midnight Surfer, rallying up the jive with some funky soul and indie electronic favorites. Los Angeles-based female duo Deap Vally rocked out (literally), treating the crowd to some gritty rock n’ roll, while DJ Delishus spun some lo-fi garage to some old school jukebox favorites.
The ever so elegant and enchanting front woman of Class Actress put on a show that mesmerized all with stunning light effects. If fans weren't catching the party on the dance-floor with Coco Morier or on the grass groovin' to Miami Horror, they were most likely devouring some last call slider orders, compliments of The Counter. Between the cranberry aioli, classic cheese and pickle combos, hungry attendees were left pleased.
We want to thank everyone who shared the dance floor with us, enjoyed beverages with us and helped us prove that good music will prevail.
You can see more photos from the night via the gallery below thanks to Jasmine Safaeian!
See you next year everyone.
