You in New York City? Looking for someting to do in the Big Apple? Well you're in luck. The Austrian Cultural Forum New York is once again hosting its annual Moving Sounds Festival in New York City to present Austrian acts Elektro Guzzi, and many others, as well as a live-demo of the Reactable. In collaboration with the Music Information Center of Austria (MICA), and the Argento New Music Project, the annual international festival of music, visual media and aesthetic dialogue highlights the emerging and pioneering artists who focus on electronically generated music, and those who are at the interface between classically-instrumented and electronic music.
Generating a series of groundbreaking performances throughout the festival, New York's Moving Sounds Festival creates a diverse experience for a wide range of fields from composition, improvisation, electroacoustic and electronic music, rock and many more aesthetics on the rise. Please see below for more information on festival featured performers Reactable and Elektro Guzzi.
