FESTIVAL WATCH: LouFest Announces Kid-Friendly AREA K

Everyone knows that the best festivals happen in the summer months. That’s great for kids out of school and college students on break, but it doesn't really help all those parents out there. Parents like music too you know!

The people at LouFest have devised a way for whole families to enjoy the festival. At this year's LouFest, families can take part of AREA K, a special part of the festival just for families. Kids can make Mad Matter hats with the folks from Magic House, make scary masks with the help of the Missouri Botanical Garden and Saint Louis Art Museum, jam with friends at Fazio's Rock Academy and more!

AREA K is for all ages and it even has its own stage featuring the below bands and special guests!

The two day festival takes place on August 27, 28 on Central Field in Forest Park, St. Louis, MO.
