It's the season of the witch in LA this month, as Irish Troubadour Donovan headlines The El Rey Theater in Los Angeles on March 19 in a special benefit show for The David Lynch Foundation. He will be joined by his daughter Astrella Celeste and backing band Jerry Vivino, Scott Healy & Rick Reed (from the Conan O'Brien Late Night Band), with special guests Peter Noone (Herman's Hermits), Jack Maness (Sublime), The Global Sound Lodge feat: Matt Sorum (of Guns n Roses, Velvet Revolver) & Lanny Cordola, Donovan Jr., Bob Forrest (Thelonious Monster), Amrita Sen, Danny Saber (Black Grape / Alice Cooper), Carla Olson (Textones), Poe, and more TBA.
As all David Lynch Foundation concerts (and really, anything involved with David Lynch), it will be a very memorable event. Donovan, along with Paul McCartney, Ringo Starr, Ben Harper, Eddie Vedder, Sheryl Crow and others, performed at a David Lynch Foundation benefit concert at Radio City Music Hall last year.
Both General Admission ($25) and VIP tickets ($110)—which includes a meet-and-greet with Donovan and the other artists after the show—are available for purchase at Ticketmaster.
