CULTURE COLLIDE Pocket Guide: The Novocaines
By Staff on September 23, 2013
As much as we love the sun, the surf and the sand here in Southern California, we cannot wait for autumn. Come October, we get to watch the leaves fall down while artists from around the world come together to play at this year’s Culture Collide!
To get you ready for what’s to come, we’ve gathered a bunch of details on the bands that will soon grace our stages, prepping you for when the world converges in LA. Remember: no passport needed!
Perhaps you may not know their name, but there's a good chance that you've heard the hard-hitting punk songs of The Novocaines in hit TV shows like Californication and Shameless. This post-hardcore punk band from Perth, Western Australia really knows how to harness their unique burst of energy onstage. We're more than excited to know that they're bringing that same level of chaos and creation to Culture Collide! They’re joining us as part of the NOT Made In USA Tour, and we’re excited to have them in Echo Park next month.
The band formed in 2006 and they’ve been a wild success in Australia, playing several big festivals in Australia like Playground Weekender and Big Day Out. Their screaming intensity is sure to get you on your feet and into the mosh pit.
Keep an eye out at Culture Collide and check out their hit "Freedom Please" right here.
