As much as we love the sun, the surf and the sand here in Southern California, we cannot wait for autumn. Come October, we get to watch the leaves fall down while artists from around the world come together to play at this year’s Culture Collide!
To get you ready for what’s to come, we’ve gathered a bunch of details on the bands that will soon grace our stages, prepping you for when the world converges in LA. Remember: no passport needed!
With one foot in New York and the other in LA, Liars don’t have too far to travel to get to Culture Collide this year. The trio covers a wide array of instruments, including percussion, synth and vocals, and their sound is distinctive and unique.
Though they’ve been known to draw from '70s British post-punk, every album they release has something different to offer, and that’s why we love them! Their discography—starting with their 2002 debut, They Threw Us All In A Trench And Stuck a Monument On Top, up to their 2012 release, WIXIW—has become more refined and edgy, and we know they’ll bring all their best stuff to Culture Collide this year.
