826LA To Release ‘Chickens In Love’ Compilation

Popular non-profit organization, 826LA, is set to release the upcoming Chickens in Love compilation. Dedicated to helping kids creatively express themselves, 826LA recently held a workshop titled "Songwriting With The Submarines", where The Submarines taught kids the art of songwriting.
The compilation will feature local bands (She&Him, Cold War Kids, Fiona Apple and Dum Dum Girls among others) covering songs written by children in the Submarines' workshop. In support, 826LA will also host a MINI Music Festival on March 6th featuring The Submarines, The Happy Hollows and The Growlers.
