WATCH: The Shins Release Animated Video For “The Rifle’s Spiral”

The Shins have released a new animated video for "The Rifle's Spiral," directed by the Emmy-winning Jamie Caliri.
The dark, stop-motion video features "three sinister gentlemen, a magician and an enormous rabbit," according to Nowness. Caliri allowed his imagination to take hold of him for this video, and gathered inspiration from some of his favorite filmmakers.
“I have always loved Edward Gorey’s illustration work and his influence is apparent throughout the video,” said Caliri. He also drew inspiration from Martin Scorsese's Hugo.
