WATCH: The Knife Showcase Extreme Cases Of Burning Desire In “Full Of Fire” Video
By Staff on January 28, 2013
Back in December, The Knife announced the spring arrival of forthcoming full-length, Shaking The Habitual. Today, the Swedish synth-pop pair shares the short film for track two, "Full Of Fire," by Marit Östberg: a keen, Berlin and Stockholm-based filmmaker and visual artist.
The video features a woman urinating between two parked cars, a child's twisted curiosity in regards to broken wine classes and two newsboy cap-wearing protagonists featured alongside the rumbling lyrics, "let's talk about gender, baby. Let's talk about you and me."
Though this video ends just shy of the 10-minute mark, it is a story that in reality, never stops. According to Östberg on The Knife's website, "we will never stop longing for each other, and for something else."
To pre-order Shaking The Habitual, the album is available in several formats via Rabid Records.
