WATCH: Purity Ring Releases Sauntering New Video For “Lofticries”

Canadian electronic duo Purity Ring has unveiled its video for “Lofticries,” off of their summer debut Shrines. The track features Megan James’ ghostly vocals over producer Corin Roddick’s sticky synth lines to create a thoughtful, ambitious pop song.

Since rising from obscurity earlier this year, Purity Ring has earned comparisons to The Knife and High Places for the band’s male-female interaction and dreamy dub sound. The two set out on a month-long North American tour January 10.

Filmmaker AG Rojas, who garnered critical acclaim for his direction on Jack White’s “Sixteen Saltines” video, applies his skills to “Lofticries." Check it out below.
