Los Angeles' Lord Huron is a band that cannot do anything simply. In fact, they both create and explore worlds with their music and visuals.
From their upcoming album, Lonesome Dreams, Lord Huron released the video for their first single "Time To Run." The video is portrayed as the film adaptation of the fictionalized author George Ranger Johnson's novel.
"Time To Run" was filmed in the Mojave Desert and features singer Ben Schneider & Co. in a Western as beautiful as the song itself. Cinematography was handled by Garret Curtis, who made sure each scene upheld a certain nostalgic quality. Both cinephiles and music fans will be enamored by this song.
And if this wasn't enough, the short film ends with a "to be continued…" Surely, we'll see more visuals for the songs from the new album.
Lonesome Dreams will be released on October 9 via IAMSOUND Records. Lord Huron will also be touring the U.S. this fall. All dates are available below.
