FILTER and Converse have teamed up to bring you a series of content featuring artists and what makes them unique. In our last video we chatted with electro-poppers Phantogram, but now we're talking shop with New York's own Caveman.
Converse met up with Caveman's own Matthew Iwanusa (lead vocals, guitar, drums) and Jimmy “Cobra” Carbonetti (guitar) to talk about their humble beginnings in high school, how working in a guitar shop can inspire a band's passion and what's the best way to get rid of a Déjà vu moment. When you know that Caveman's unique brand of sprawling, experimental rock comes from a place of love, friendship and mutual respect, it makes the songs sound so much sweeter.
Check out the video full of great antedotes and guitar-crafting below and make sure to stay tuned for more exclusive content courtesy of FILTER and Converse!
