Though Django Django's newest video, for "Hand of Man," isn't as colorful or chaotic as the visuals for "Default" or "Life's a Beach" (all of which are found on the quartet's epic eponymous LP released last summer), it is just as trippy and a must-see to liven up your Monday. It might just get you amped up enough for the upcoming NME Awards tour later this week, in which DD is headlining.
This entrancing three-minute film is shot on black-and-white Super 8 by John Maclean: the brother of Django Django's drummer/producer, Dave Maclean. Watch as the band plays this low-key, charming tune at a party, while a disco ball spins and guests drink, dance, and mingle.
When sleepy Vincent Neff stops strumming his guitar and places his hand on a tablecloth, we are transported to his picnic-themed dream. Does he commit the ultimate party foul by napping? Click play to find out.
