The Patrick Carney-produced track has a twangy, southern tinge to it, complete with the laid-back exuberance these garage rockers have perfected. An homage to their Georgia roots, the video for "Justice After All" combines digital and analog mediums; evoking the blend of musical genres and eras you can hear in the new album.
It’s heavy on lo-fi nostalgia and brings to mind old home movies with your buds. Director Andy Capper wanted to show the guys in their element--cruising down suburban streets, drinking beer and lighting fireworks with friends in their Cabbagetown stomping grounds. Youthful hijinks and good times are to be had by all when Black Lips are in town, so make sure to catch them during their world tour, kicking off on March 20th.
