WATCH: Band of Horses Get The Wildlife Film Treatment In “Knock Knock”

Last time we checked in on the Seattle-turned-Charleston, North Carolina rock outfit Band of Horses they were announcing the details of their newest album Mirage Rock. While the album doesn't come out for another month, we were itching to get more news about their wearabouts and activities before the big release. Thank goodness NPR's blog All Songs Considered got a hold of this nature documentary which catches the quintet in "their natural habitat."

The incredibly charming and fresh video for "Knock Knock" follows an old school nature documentary team following Band of Horses very closely as the run around, hang out and (most importantly) rock out together. Beyond the homage to the now extinct nature films--think Life Aquatic with Steve Zissou--the video for "Knock Knock" takes a fun and light approach with such great details that you want to watch it again just to get them all!

Watch the video in its entierity below and make sure to pick up Mirage Rock on September 18th.
