On August 8th Antony and the Johnsons release Cut the World, a collection of live symphonic performances of songs from the band’s various four full-lengths. The album is enormous, even surpassing many of the original studio cuts in passion and composition.
Along with the live album comes a new Robert Wilson–directed music video for title track “Cut the World,” which is a stunning, surprising portrait in itself (not to mention that it features the fantastic Willem Dafoe). Check it out, and another cut from the album, a monologue by Antony called "Future Feminism," below.
Track number two from Cut the World is a monologue-speech, spoken by Antony himself.
