The Philistines Jr., The Bus Stop Song (FILTER Premiere)

After a nine year hiatus, The Philistines Jr. are returning with a new album titled If A Band Plays In The Woods...? this October. To celebrate, FILTER has a new song just for you!

"The Bus Stop Song" is done in typical Philistines Jr. style consisting of rock, a theremin, piano, and random other electronic sounds. This is one of those cases where even though time has passed, a group hasn’t lost their identity, and for that, we are grateful.

The new album consists of 12 original tracks done by songwriter/producer Peter Katis (The National, Interpol, Swell Season), his brother Tarquin, and Adam Pierce (Mice Parade).

Enough jabber, want to hear the new song? Want to download the new song? Check it out below!

If A Band Plays In The Woods drops October 19th.
