Shout Out Louds will be returning with their third full-length album, Work, this February thanks to the good folks at Merge Records. Following an over two-year gap since their last album, Our Ill Wills, Work was largely written by singer Adam Olenius in Melbourne, Australia with just a synthesizer, acoustic guitar and Garageband. The rest of the band living in various corners of the world (re: Los Angeles & Stockholm) all contributed long-distance before coming together for recording in Seattle, under the wise production supervision of Phil Ek (The Shins, Fleet Foxes, Band of Horses).
Work will be released February 23, 2010, but you can already enjoy a free download of the first, delicious track "Walls" below. Check out a bonus video featuring footage from the recording process after the jump!
